Bazaar Shopping (and Bake Sales!)

Hope Church hosts two annual shopping bazaars (and bake sales!) each year.  The Spring Bazaar is held in early February, and the Holiday Bazaar is held in early October.

The Bazaar committee works year round to make these shopping events fun and profitable.

Bake SaleThe Bake Sale is always a big hit... as is the announcement the Sunday prior to the Sale. You might see a French chef or the Hope Doughboy... or who knows what! But the announcement will be amusing.

As you prepare your donations for the bazaars, please keep these things in mind:

  1. If you are bringing fragile items (like sets of dishes), please make an effort to loosely wrap them so they don't get broken as we transport things.
  2. If you come across holiday items you're ready to part with, we'll take those things, too, for the Holiday Bazaar.
  3. Items may be left in the passageway in the Education building known as the Service Area, but anything large or heavy requires a phone call to Mary Kaylor (863-969-3352) to arrange delivery to our special storage areas

Please do not leave things outside the church doors; if it rains (which it does unexpectedly quite often here in Florida), your contributions are ruined.

Would you like to help work at one of the bazaars? We'd love to have you; we need LOTS of workers, both men and women. If you're interested in helping to either setup for a bazaar or actually work the day of a bazaar (or both!), please contact Mary Kaylor.

Other questions about the Bazaar? Contact Ava Vanyo or Ellen Martin.
