Spring Bazaar

One person's trash is someone else's treasure!

Our next Annual Bazaar and Bake Sale is scheduled for Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 7am until 1pm!  This is the BIG ONE... and if you've never attended, you have no idea HOW big!! We fill up McGrath Hall, most of the sidewalks outside, AND the portico! Our next sale is sure to be another great event, judging from the wonderful donations we've received so far!

Spring Bazaar As always, we are accepting donations for the sale:  kitchen items, linens, decorations, electronics, books, crafts, jewelry, purses, accessories, furniture, lamps, hardware, sports equipment, health items, ... you name it!  There are only two types of items we don't accept: clothing and shoes. (If you have those items to donate, we suggest that you give them to St. John's Thrift Shop, The Mission, or the Women's Resource Center, all very worthy organizations located right here in Winter Haven.)

As you prepare your donations, we request that if you are bringing fragile items (like dishes or glassware), please make an effort to loosely wrap them so they don't get broken as we transport things.

It would also be helpful if you would keep autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas things you'd like to donate separate from your other donations. We save those items for our Holiday Bazaar.

Hauling boxesWould you like to help work at the Bazaar? We'd love to have you; we need LOTS of workers, both men and women. If you're interested in helping to either setup for the Bazaar or actually work the day of the Bazaar (or both!), please contact Mary Kaylor.

Other questions about the Bazaar? Contact Ava Vanyo or Ellen Martin.
