The Men of Hope meet monthly for lunch at noon on the last Wednesday of each month at Perkins Restaurant on Cypress Gardens Blvd. This is a time of fun, food, and fellowship where the men attempt to solve the world's problems without involving politics! All men are welcome; young and old, alike.
The Men of Hope sponsor several projects throughout each year. They decorate the landscape on national holidays with 200 U.S. flags to show our respect and to honor those who have served our country.
Another of their projects was the revitalization of the area surrounding the Church flagpole. The area now includes a patio area of 238 bricks which can be engraved. Our Men of Hope donated the first five bricks, and we are thankful to many others in our Church who have also donated bricks.
A brick may be engraved in memory, honor, or gratitude of a particular person, or an important date, such as a birth, marriage, anniversary, or death.
The engravig cost is $35 per brick, which includes up to 3 lines and 13 characters per line.
Order forms are available in the Narthex literature racks. Return completed forms along with your payment to the Church office (or place in the offering plate on Sunday).
