Scripture commands us not only to love the Lord God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, but also to love our neighbor as ourselves!
There are two great privileges that God has given to man. The first is salvation, which is the privilege to enter into an intimate and eternal relationship with God, to be unified with Him in love. The second greatest privilege is to serve God with good works, which He performs through us as we allow Him to do so.
Our prayer should be that the Gospel of Christ will be advanced as we prepare for His imminent return. We want Him to find us alert and working hard to advance His Kingdom when He returns, not lethargic and apathetic. When we are doing God’s will, God is working through our lives to do His work. After people are exposed to our ministry, we hope they leave thinking more about Jesus than themselves.
